"That's why we're all here: to better understand one another and treat each other with sympathy and compassion, commodities which are all too often in short supply."
- Dr. Franklin, Babylon 5: "Secrets of the Soul"

Welcome to my collections of Goals. This page acts as a links page, increasing awareness and exposure for goals I have and topics I feel are worthy of discussion. Some of the goals are my own, some are not, yet, I believe all are worthy of your attention. Please enjoy the links and photo aids in the modules that follow!

My journy with Biomimicry began when I attended PittCon during the winter of 2007. At that time I had the ability to take a couple of hours and visit the Field Museum where I came upon a wonderful book in the gift shop. Janine M. Benyus writes in an interested and inquisitive style in Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature.
I enjoyed reading the book, and it really polarized me to reconsider the science that I do. Its very difficult to apply the sort of work I do to biomimicry, but I think with some time, and some energy I can begin to put the pieces into place. My goal: be working in harmony with nature via biomimicry by the end of 2008. For me it all starts with a visit to The Biomimicry Institute.
