Great for a throaty Trip Rec kind of tone. Engage the the EQ for alternative rhythm tone. Classic V scoop. RG7 string guitar. |

Stick the overall output to 9oclock+ and stand well back. This will melt your face. Quite simply death by amp. Cops a very good Dream Theater Glass Prison Rhythm kind of like a very gainy MarkIIc+ IMO |

This is voiced for a stock UV7PWH, and while I typically use Normal mode, it works quite well in Modern, too. It isn't a super-saturated patch, but it's a great smooth Lynch-like dynamically responsive lead tone that records well and leaves plenty of sonic space for a good crunch rhythm |

Power amp in extreme note: my settings are 'clock' style settings, since the nomad has no numbers |

normal voicing. i love this for CCR. usually played on the middle single coil on my RG570. i can switch to neck PU's for a surf instrumental type sound, or with a touch more gain and the bridge PU, i get this sweet spanky funk. |

I play a custom Warmoth strat with dual EMG 85s.
As much as I love all the settings of my Nomad 55 1x12 combo, and my Dual Rectifier (with half of the power tubes taken out), I find myself a "Vintage High Gain" kind of guy. It cuts through the mix better. |

output to where it feels good. Nomads sound better (to me) with out put cranked. Adjust bass to suit so it does'nt go all flubby. This sounds great with strat neck p/up |

power amp in normal mode. Since the master volume is set somewhat low (to provide more power amp gain), a noise gate in the effects loop needs to be set at a very low threshold or removed alltogether so it doesnt cut short sustain |

Power amp set to extreme. This setting is edgy spanky and still clean. With humbuckers you get a thicker on the edge of breakup sound and single coils are purely funktastical... |
