Keith - "Nice clean"
Amp: Nomad 45 Channel: Channel 1 - Clean
Gain: 6 Master: 4 Presence: 8
Treble: 6 Mid: 6 Bass: 2
Notes: My favorite clean sound so far - sounds nice on the coil split positions with my Jem

David Beebee - "Throaty Roar"
Amp: Nomad 100 Channel: Channel 3 - Modern
Gain: 4.5 Master: 4 Presence: 3
Treble: 5.5 Mid: 4.5 Bass: 8
Notes: Great for a throaty Trip Rec kind of tone. Engage the the EQ for alternative rhythm tone. Classic V scoop. RG7 string guitar.

David Beebee - "TGP - (not for the faint of heart)"
Amp: Nomad 100 Channel: Channel 2 - Modern
Gain: 7.5-8.5 Master: 5 Presence: 3
Treble: 6.5 Mid: 3-4.5 Bass: 6-7
Notes: Stick the overall output to 9oclock+ and stand well back. This will melt your face. Quite simply death by amp. Cops a very good Dream Theater Glass Prison Rhythm kind of like a very gainy MarkIIc+ IMO

Drew Peterson - "Smooth Modern Lead"
Amp: Nomad 45 Channel: Channel 3 - Vintage
Gain: 5 Master: 10 Presence: 0
Treble: 4.5 Mid: 6 Bass: 4
Notes: This is voiced for a stock UV7PWH, and while I typically use Normal mode, it works quite well in Modern, too. It isn't a super-saturated patch, but it's a great smooth Lynch-like dynamically responsive lead tone that records well and leaves plenty of sonic space for a good crunch rhythm

Eric Ens - "standard lead"
Amp: Nomad 45 Channel: Channel 3 - Modern
Gain: 1:15 Master: 12:00 Presence: 9:00
Treble: 11:30 Mid: 9:00 Bass: 2:30
Notes: Power amp in extreme note: my settings are 'clock' style settings, since the nomad has no numbers

Jonny Wildey - "Chug"
Amp: Nomad 55 Channel: Channel 3 - Modern
Gain: 6 Master: 4 Presence: 6
Treble: 5.3ish Mid: 4 Bass: 7-8
Notes: My standard rhythm metal tone. Also works quite well for leads if distortion pedal put infront.RG7

J Leon Wilde - "Susie Q"
Amp: Nomad 45 Channel: Channel 2 - Vintage
Gain: 5 Master: 5 Presence: 7~8
Treble: 6 Mid: 4 Bass: 6
Notes: normal voicing. i love this for CCR. usually played on the middle single coil on my RG570. i can switch to neck PU's for a surf instrumental type sound, or with a touch more gain and the bridge PU, i get this sweet spanky funk.

Greg - "Main Lead Tone"
Amp: Nomad 55 Channel: Channel 2 - Vintage
Gain: 7.5 Master: 5 Presence: 5.5
Treble: 5 Mid: 4 Bass: 8
Notes: I play a custom Warmoth strat with dual EMG 85s. As much as I love all the settings of my Nomad 55 1x12 combo, and my Dual Rectifier (with half of the power tubes taken out), I find myself a "Vintage High Gain" kind of guy. It cuts through the mix better.

Jeff - "Beef"
Amp: Nomad 55 Channel: Channel 3 - Modern
Gain: 6-7 Master: 5-6 Presence: 1.5-2.5
Treble: 6-7 Mid: 4-5 Bass: matched w/ Mids
Notes: Good Progressive Dream Theater-esque Rhythm. Pretty Beefy.

tullyu - "fat breakup"
Amp: Nomad 55 Channel: Channel 1 - Clean
Gain: 10 Master: 5-6 Presence: 3-4
Treble: 6.6 Mid: 3-4 Bass: 5-6
Notes: output to where it feels good. Nomads sound better (to me) with out put cranked. Adjust bass to suit so it does'nt go all flubby. This sounds great with strat neck p/up

Eric Ens - "Endless Sustain"
Amp: Nomad 45 Channel: Channel 3 - Modern
Gain: 2:30 Master: 10:00 Presence: 10:00
Treble: 10:30 Mid: 12:00 Bass: 1:30
Notes: power amp in normal mode. Since the master volume is set somewhat low (to provide more power amp gain), a noise gate in the effects loop needs to be set at a very low threshold or removed alltogether so it doesnt cut short sustain

Mark - "Spanky Clean"
Amp: Nomad 45 Channel: Channel 1 - Clean
Gain: 7 Master: 6 Presence: 4
Treble: 7 Mid: 3.5 Bass: 6
Notes: Power amp set to extreme. This setting is edgy spanky and still clean. With humbuckers you get a thicker on the edge of breakup sound and single coils are purely funktastical...

Stephen Lamb - "British Type Gain"
Amp: Nomad 45 Channel: Channel 3 - Vintage
Gain: 3:00 Master: 1:00 Presence: 7:00
Treble: 11:30 Mid: 12:00 Bass: 5:00
Notes: I played a Les Paul BFG through this channel and it nearly took the enamel off my teeth Great lead tone Normal power amp setting

jOHN - "Captain Crunch"
Amp: Nomad 45 Channel: Channel 2 - Vintage
Gain: 6 Master: 3 Presence: 6
Treble: 5 Mid: 7 Bass: 10
Notes: Extreme power switch enguaged, and out put at about 4, ahhhhhhh a ripping hard sound, STP old G&R, Headstones sound

Funk Master Jack - "Plink plinka plink plink kachow"
Amp: Nomad 55 Channel: Channel 1 - Clean
Gain: 4 Master: 6 Presence: 7
Treble: 6 Mid: 5 Bass: 3
Notes: MF'er Double posted on me. If you want to be a funk master pull out your straty strat and hit those high strings.

Horse - "Long and thick"
Amp: Nomad 45 Channel: Channel 2 - Vintage
Gain: 6 Master: 6 Presence: 3
Treble: 5 Mid: 5 Bass: 5
Notes: It all comes to a massive head when you go solo.
