my 'two cents'
Plankeye's debut album Spill is often underrated. Despite the questionable quality of the recording itself, Spill is an excellent album. For the most part, the music is along the lines of punk rock. Musically, it's not too original.. but I love punk, and they do it quite nicely here. Lyrically, this album is quite weak. If you're looking for something deep, you'll have to move on to their second album.
