It appears to me that Scott is the only member of Plankeye that was involved directly with this album.. the band was a house band for the project.

my 'two cents'
This CD isn't really surf music, in my humble opinion. Most of the lyrics are weak, also. There are a few highlights, regardless. Plankeye's song Thrill Seeker is pretty good.. it has a rather mystical sound to it that will catch you.
Although I'm not normally fond of All Star United, Surfer's Paradise is a great track, and probably one of the best tracks on the album.
Skillet's Last Day of Summer is my personal favorite. Although I see nothing surf about it except the lyrics, it's an excellent track combining modern rock and electronica for a sound similar to Circle of Dust and Nine Inch Nails (although a lot 'brighter' then both of these bands).
The last worthwhile track on the album is the Supertones' instrumental ska track Caught Inside. While this track is good, I'd just skip this album and pick it up on Supertones Strike Back where it can also be found.
So, yeah.. my review of this album is pretty weak. If you run across it cheap, pick it up.. but it's not worth more then $5 considering there's only 4 excellent songs.
