Time for another anime and manga page! Strap yourselves in, find some orange juice or what-have-you and make ready to explore my world of anime and manga.
I've been an anime fan (I won't use the term otaku) for about 10 years and have been collecting off and on (but mostly on) over those years. It was only a matter of time before I really dove into making these web pages devoted to this hobby. So here we are...
Over the many years I've picked up a lot of information, tips and tricks, and opinions. That's the main purpose behind this page, to share what I've learned with other fans and help cultivate the ever-growing tide of fandom.
We have a couple of different sections here, so bookmark this page, and then use my links to visit each of the others.
First, is my Anime and Manga Resource Page. This is where you'll find the latest version of the rec.arts.anime.misc FAQ and the rec.arts.manga FAQ. Also featured here is a version of Yale's 100 Most Essential Words in Anime. And what everyone should check out is the Anime Pocket Guide - Project '98. If that's not enough, visit my Links Page for more.
Next is my Anime Page of Lists. This is where I thumb my nose at the flame wars on the Usenet and offer forth my own lists of the best and worst of the anime world. Check it out and give me your reactions.
Then I present my Anime and Manga Collection list. A bit of showing off, but useful to look at to see what other titles are out there that you may not have heard of. I also talk about possible trades here, so please check it out.
Finally I urge everyone to read the Anime Survival Guide for valuable tips and tricks on surviving in the world of anime fandom... especially on a budget. I'd say this is my most important and original page, as well as the most controversial. Check it out and get back to me! ^_^
